Korean PEN hosted the 2009 Annual Literary Seminar at the Literary House, Seoul on Jun 12, 2009 for the members of Korean PEN only.

The theme was "Image of the Mother depicted in the Modern Korean Literature".

Such  renound Korean witers  as Tak-beon OH(poet), Woo-Jong KIM(critic), Dong-Ha LEE(professor) made speeches on the image of the mother shown in the modern Korean poems, essays and novels.
Vice President Ja-Hyo Yoo(poet) of the Korean PEN chaired the seminar.
